Devon Riches

Videographer

Devon Riches grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She didn't grow up in a horse family but from a very young age horses completely had her heart. She started out competing in hunter jumpers and dressage but she always dreamed of rodeoing and barrel racing. In 2013 she bought her first barrel horse and started a new journey! Which included moving to barrel racer central - Alberta.

Growing up Devon was always interested in YouTube and stumbled across self taught filmmaker Sam Kolder who inspired her to pick up a camera, start filming and learn how to edit. After discovering the work of rodeo videographer Randy Quartieri she decided to merge her two biggest passions. Now Devon shoots rodeo, weddings, bull ridings and barrel racing.

When she isn't behind the camera, she's training to be in front of it doing stunts for TV and film - like Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy.
